BRIGHTER FUTURES START WITH KUMON


Welcome to the Wakefield Kumon Math and Reading Center!

Kumon Mom April O recently wrote about her son, "Kumon has been a true blessing for my son!  My son has progressed so much since start with Kumon last summer.  He was struggling a lot with math and reading (and other areas) and we made the decision to keep him in Kindergarten for a second year and once I found Kumon, I knew it would be such a great resource for him.  Between doing Kindergarten a second time and Kumon he has advanced so much and his confidence has soared. I can't say enough great things about Kumon."

I'm getting a number of requests for information from parents of prospective students. Your requests are welcome, and I regularly hold free parent information sessions. Send me an e-mail (monishanabar@ikumon.com) or give me a call at 781.245.6284 to request an appointment. I am busy in class on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons but will get back to you quickly during office hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

How to Enroll Your Child

Step 1
Call the center or click the "Schedule an Appointment" link above, to schedule a free Parent Orientation and Placement Test for your child.
Step 2
Attend the Parent Orientation, and have your child take the placement test. Meet with your instructor to learn about Kumon’s individualized learning method, and review the results from your child’s placement test.
Step 3
Review your child’s progress goal plan. Based on your child’s placement test results, the instructor will create a two-year academic plan to help your child reach his or her goals.
Step 4
Enroll your child. Students will attend the center twice a week, and complete daily assignments at home. Your instructor will design an individualized lesson plan for your child that will be monitored, and changed as needed to be sure he or she is on track to reach his or her goals.
Step 5
Schedule your 30-day post-enrollment meeting. Your instructor will set a date to meet with your family after 30 days of enrollment to evaluate your child’s performance and ensure the program is going smoothly.
