Favorite Books of Children Six to Eight Years Old

In 2014, Scholastic conducted a large research study that surveyed the attitudes of children and parents towards reading. The results were published as the fifth edition of the Kids & Family Reading Report™. Children answered questions about their preferences in literature and the results were groups by ages. Titles from several distinguished series of books emerged as favorites. Of the diverse group of 255 children between six and eight years of age, here are their favorite books that can also be found on the Kumon Recommended Reading List.
