About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

My name is Brennan Quiambao and I am the Aiea Kumon center instructor! 

Born and raised on Oahu, I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I have been working at the Aiea and Pearl City centers for 9 years and have been fortunate to learn from those instructors. During my time with the program, I realized I had a passion for helping children become the best versions of themselves. As I worked for Kumon, I began to fall more and more in love with the program and have seen many children exceed their parents expectations and succeed academically. I have been fortunate to also see students go from studying below grade level with low confidence to studying beyond grade level with brimming confidence.

I wholeheartedly believe in the Kumon Program and believe that any child can benefit from Kumon under the right instruction. Using Kumon’s Math and Reading Program, I plan to continue to deliver the same quality instruction, as well as, continue to look for ways to improve!
