About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

My name is Noopur Pandya and I have been a Kumon instructor for just over 10 years at the Kumon Ajax Taunton Centre.

My passion for teaching has allowed me to help thousands of students across the Durham region, and this experience has been a rewarding and fulfilling one. Furthermore, I come from a family of educators. Both my parents and grandparents were teachers, and so, sharing knowledge with others runs in the family! This has equipped me with the ability to comfortably interact with all my students, no matter their educational or cultural background, allowing them to effectively achieve their potential!

Kumon is a proven education system that has been used for more than 60 years. As an instructor, I have learned to apply this successful learning system to my centre competently, allowing my students to further their academic achievements through their educational journeys. When applying the Kumon method, I always make sure to work with the students and their parents together, to develop an individualized plan to reach a desired goal at a steady and consistent pace. Additionally, my commitment to being a dedicated ally during the entirety of the process of learning and development, pushes my students cultivate an interest in education itself.

Even during this difficult time, my staff and I have adjusted to the new environment of virtual learning, and with the help of my whole family, who are heavily involved at the Kumon centre, we have been able to successfully implement the Kumon program!
