About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Every parent desires academic success for their children. As a mother of two, I am no different. To fulfill this desire, I enrolled my children in the Kumon Program. After six months, I began to see a remarkable change in how my kids approached and solved challenging problems. I was impressed, to say the least, and became a believer in the Kumon Method. My decision to become a certified Kumon Instructor immediately followed this transformation that I observed in my own children. My kids have benefited the from the Kumon Program for many years and I am proud to say they are both studying in the gifted program at their schools. As program completers, they are now both assistants at the center who help deliver high quality instruction to Kumon students.

With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, over 12 years of experience delivering high profile pharmaceutical products for Abbott Laboratories and extensive training that I received from Kumon, I am confident that I can help every child reach their full potential. I am passionate about working with children and a firm believer that every child has the potential to become a confident self-motivated learner.

Let your child amaze you!
