This line, in a nutshell, defines who I am as a teacher. Teaching is my passion, and I learn from my students every day. I work to make them independent, successful, and confident individuals who, one day, will make a mark on this world in their own way.
As an extensively trained and certified professional Instructor, graduated BA, MA at SNU(Seoul National University) in Korea majoring in Musicology, I bring passion and zeal of learning to the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Andover. With all of my teaching experience at several colleges, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support, and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.
