About the Centre

Introduction

Welcome to Kumon of Bramalea City Centre!

Our Centre is located upstairs in an out-parcel building outside of Bramalea City Centre Shopping Mall. Our neighbours include Popeyes and Demetre's.

At Kumon of Bramalea City Centre, we believe that using The Kumon Method, students will become confident, self-motivated lifelong learners and possess the skills necessary to succeed in school and beyond.

We know that each and every child is different and believe that they are capable of reaching their fullest potential. At Kumon, we create individualized lesson plans so that each student is working at his or her just right level and at a comfortable pace.

Home Grading

Students whose homework is graded and corrected daily progress more smoothly and rapidly through the program.

Parents are expected to grade their child's homework for the first couple of levels. Students should always correct their mistakes to ensure that learning is continuous.

Answer Books will be provided and should be kept in a safe place.

Parents are also encouraged to write comments on the Homework Organizer about the students' homework routine so that the instructor can follow up with the students.

After certain levels, we understand that parents are no longer comfortable marking the homework. When that is the case, the students will hand in their homework on a class day so that it can be marked by one of our teaching assistants.
