About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Kat Paraiso had over six years experience running a Kumon Center in Manila where she successfully mentored several of her students to complete the Math and the Reading Program.   She graduated from the Ateneo De Manila University and pursued further studies in Special Education from the University of the Philippines.

Needing to relocate to New Jersey in 2008, she wanted to continue being a Kumon instructor as she experienced first-hand how the program helped instill discipline and develop the life skills of her former students.  With the opening of the Branchburg Center, Kat looks forward to sharing the benefits of the Kumon Program and developing the potential of  more students from the area.
