I obtained my doctorate degree in Chemistry from Emory University with collaboration at Georgia Tech. Emory University gave me the opportunity to work in cutting edge research, and more importantly, helped me find my passion in education. My most memorable and fulfilling experiences there were when I taught undergraduate students and mentored future researchers. Besides teaching at Emory, I also volunteered in Emory’s educational outreach programs, working with children of all ages in local elementary schools, middle schools and high schools, and expanding their knowledge in science and mathematics.
I made the decision to follow my passion, and sought a path that would give me the opportunity to be directly involved in the enrichment of students and make contributions to our community. Having witnessed many successful stories through friends and family in their children, I became a strong believer in the Kumon Learning Method, which guides children in learning how to learn on their own, enjoying learning, exploring their potential, building up confidence and laying a solid foundation for their success. I want to bring this success to every child, including yours.
As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor with rich teaching experience, I am qualified, compassionate and dedicated to your child’s growth. I have an earnest desire to guide your child not only to be academically successful, but also self-reliant and confident in all that he or she does in life.
I look forward to meeting you and helping your child succeed in the classroom and beyond!
