About the Instructor

Introduction

We, Ashu Mithal and Manjusha Inamdar are Certified Kumon Instructors at the Kumon of Burlington center. We also served as the instructors for the Woburn center from Dec 2012 to July 2024. As extensively trained and certified professional instructors, we serve as mentors who guide your child through his/her work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. We create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time-frame. This has helped many students enhance their self-confidence, allowing students to become more self-reliant. We both have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help your child succeed. We look forward to making a difference in child's academic journey and reach his/ her potential.

We believe that investing in young children is investing in the future of a country. If we instill good work skills in our children, they will have a better future tomorrow. Since we both have a passion for educating children and extensive teaching experience, we decided to help young children become critical thinkers and independent learners through the Kumon Method. We want them to have a love for learning and opened our first Kumon Center in the town of Burlington, MA in 2002. We believe that by promoting the Kumon Method, we can discover the highest potential in children. The Kumon Method not only helps children learn how to learn on their own, but also develops strong academic skills.

We strongly believe that our students gain a sense of confidence that will help them in the classroom and beyond. We nurture them to have a passion for learning and to become critical thinkers. After seeing our students succeed for 10 years, we wanted to help even more children, so we opened our second center in Woburn, MA in 2012. Now we are pursuing our passion by helping as many children in our community as possible to reach above their school grade level.

As parents, we have first-hand experience and can attest to how the Kumon Program can unlock the hidden potential of your child.

We believe that together, we certainly can build a better future for our children.

Training and Certification

Both Ashu and Manjusha are Certified Kumon Instructors. Kumon Instructors work very closely with each individual student and his or her family to create the best study plan possible for the student, whether the need is for remedial help or for advanced study. Homework and classwork are carefully assessed for speed and accuracy to maintain the right level of challenge and to ensure that mastery is attained as each new skill is introduced.
