About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

My name is Neena Gupta, and I am the instructor and director of Kumon Canton - South. I am a lifelong educator and have always loved working with students to develop their skills to forge their unique academic journey. I earned my Bachelors in Chemistry and Education and my Masters in Analytical Chemistry and Polymer Technology from IIT Roorkee. I have extensive experience in both research and teaching through various mediums. 


I began my journey with Kumon in London, UK and then went on to open my own Kumon franchise in New Delhi, India. It was one of the first Kumon Centers in India and became one of the most successful, supporting hundreds of students and families. I was able to see the positive effects of learning through Kumon for both my students and my own daughter’s academic growth. The curriculum allowed her and my students to prosper and overcome obstacles in and out of the classroom. 


I am dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential and provide them the tools to overcome any challenge. I strongly believe in developing my team so we can work together to provide the best experience for our students and families. My goal is to instill confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset in every student that I work with. I strongly believe that every child is capable of great success, and I look forward to working with your children to find their own best path forward.
