My Kumon journey started while I was in undergraduate school. It helped me fund the tuition I needed to get my Software Engineering degree from the University of Calgary.
As I made my way up the corporate ladder, working for some big name software companies, all the while still working Kumon part time as a hobby, I realized that cubical life was not for me.
An instructor position in Surrey, BC, Canada, became available. After quick deliberation, I decided to quit my engineering job. I moved and successfully ran one of the biggest centres in the Vancouver area.
As my family grew, we wanted to move back home to Calgary to be closer to family. After gaining experience from working at four other Kumon centres, I now apply my learnings to Calgary-Deerfoot Meadows Kumon and the Calgary SE community.
I am excited to grow my centre and foster the families in the community that surrounds me.
