About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Gina EPage Photo

Hello there!
My name is Gina Rhee, and I am your local Kumon Instructor here at Dacula- Hamilton Mill. I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.

I pursued a career in Kumon because I wanted to share the knowledge and self-learning skills I obtained as a former Kumon student. I noticed I was able to grasp concepts, excel in AP courses, and college courses because of the skills I picked up in Kumon. My goal as a Kumon Instructor is to give all my students skills and the ability to be self-sufficient in learning and in life.

Training and Certification

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree. Go DAWGS! During my time at the University of Georgia, I was able to take Early Childhood and Education courses that ignited my passion for education and drew me back to Kumon.

As a former Kumon student, I understand the other side of Kumon from both the student and parent. I continue learning from both the math and reading curriculum by examining and collaborating with colleagues on how to better help students.
