About the Instructor

Hi,

I’d like to formally introduce myself. My name is Patrick Lo. I have been involved with Kumon for the last twenty years of my life - first as a student, then as an assistant, and now as an Instructor. I believe in the Kumon process and take pride and joy on how Kumon is able to help every kind of student.  I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.  I look forward to working with your children and keeping Kumon of Edina part of the community in the years to come.

I was born in Minnesota and grew up in Edina and graduated from Edina High School in 2002. In 2005, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Minnesota.  In 2007, I joined the Minnesota National Guard and later commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 2008.  In 2012, I deployed as a platoon leader with the Minnesota National Guard to Iraq.  In addition to being a Kumon Instructor,  I served in the Minnesota National Guard as a Captain until 2016.
