About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Ms. Jennifer attended East Brunswick public schools her whole life and graduated Rutgers University with highest honors under a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. She was a Kumon student herself, since the age of 4 years old, where Kumon was run in the 80's at home in her living room by her mother, Ms Helen Kim, one of the veteran instructors of Kumon.


Ms. Jennifer is an active member with the ASCE and upon graduation, proceeded to work as a construction project assistant manager for Stantec, with projects related to highway/bridge/tunnel design. She has been raised as a Kumon child and is now a successful Kumon Instructor with a lot of spunk and personality to pour out onto her students!

Recently, in February 2018, she was featured in an online Entrepreneur article and was also on the radio, on 98.3.

She is an active member at her local church, Grace Community Chapel, and loves Ikea & construction work with a passion.
