About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Bio Photo

Prior to becoming a Kumon instructor, I worked as a center assistant in Elk Grove-Laguna Center for ten years. Through my years as an assistant, I saw the positive impact the Kumon Program has on students not only on their academics but also on their personal development. My reason for wanting to become an instructor was to preserve the high quality education that our students received.

As a trained and certified professional instructor, I work hard guiding my students through their work and developing their self-learning skills while providing direction, support and encouragement. In addition to in-class observation, I create a homework plan that is “just right” for each student. This has helped many of my students increase confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help your children succeed.
