Introduction

About the Instructor

My name is Ritu Mangla, and I am the instructor at Kumon Etobicoke Mimico Centre!

I decided to be a Kumon Instructor when I learned that Kumon is a "structured, proven self-learning program that gives a child the critical thinking skills and mindset to learn new materials independently." The Kumon Methodology of self-learning through speed and accuracy made me a strong believer in this program.

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant.

Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

About The Instructor

I am a Corporate Lawyer by profession and have been practicing it for over 15 years. I used to do voluntary work to teach deprived children of society, and it gave me immense satisfaction to see them prosper in life through education. This gave me a new goal in life of imparting education and enhancing the overall development of the child through Kumon methodology. I think education is the most valuable thing you could give to mankind. My passion for education motivated me to spend the rest of my life with Kumon. Educating kids means educating the community and building a happy society. Believing that every child is different and making them progress through his or her own individual abilities is the bottom-line of Kumon.

I am looking forward to having motivated students and satisfied parents working with me towards the Kumon journey of learning and creating a world full of gratitude.
