Sanchit, Double Program Completer!

Sanchit

Meet Sanchit. He will be an incoming 7th grader and has already self-learned through Calculus and read/interpreted Shakespeare through the Kumon Program.

This would be an amazing accomplishment for any student only 13 years old but he managed to accomplish this during the Covid-19 Pandemic. While the world stopped, our students kept going strong. Here's what he has to say in his own words...

"I got started in Kumon because my parents put me in the program and my fondest memory as a Kumon student is studying hard for the level O test. My favorite lesson is probably Factorization or Derivatives/Integrals. My favorite level would be L or J. My favorite book currently is A Study in Scarlet, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Kumon has helped a lot in my academic career by helping me with topics that had not been covered in school yet, which gave me an enormous head-start in school. I enjoy doing math, playing games, tennis, and reading."

Congratulations Sanchit! You are truly amazing and it has been an honor to help you reach your goals!

Shuah is off to Brown University!

SHuah

Meet Shuah. She first came to us as a shy student and not long after became a double program completer, confident and well-poised for the rigors of her high school's IB Program. Then, she returned to Kumon of Federal Way as an assistant, working to help many fellow students gain the same bit of confidence that she felt with tackling advanced level materials. She became a mentor to many of our students who were on their way to level J completion and beyond.

We are so excited for her and what’s ahead as she begins a combined undergraduate-MD program at the college of her choice. Her final decision...... (drum-roll please...) Brown University! Congratulations to Shuah and her family!
