Through her journey, she unearthed her true passion for working with children, guiding them to acquire new skills and invaluable experiences.
Fueled by her dedication and joy in children's development, Cristina decided to establish a Kumon Center in Fort Saskatchewan. This endeavor enables her to contribute significantly to the growth and success of children in the local community. Beyond academic achievements, Cristina's goal is to empower children for success in life, nurturing qualities such as confidence, focus, self-reliance, motivation, and an authentic love for learning — all integral attributes cultivated in Kumon students.
As a highly trained and certified professional instructor in math and reading, Cristina serves as a mentor, guiding children on their academic journey. This role includes not only providing direction, support, and encouragement but also creating customized at-home study plans and monitoring progress on classroom assignments. An essential element of Cristina's approach is emphasizing the importance of completing each task accurately and within the designated time frame to promote their learning and overall growth.
As a parent herself, Cristina has consistently been the trusted source of educational guidance for many of her friends' children. She intimately understands the concerns parents have regarding their children's progress and is fully committed to making a positive impact in the lives of her students and the broader community.
When Cristina isn't immersed in her work or in front of a computer screen, she enjoys spending time in her garden, going for bike rides, exploring the wonders of nature, participating in community service, and embarking on family travels.
