At Kumon of Fredericksburg-Northwest, it is our goal to develop your child's learning confidence by ensuring he or she has mastery of the curriculum and has a strong foundation prior to moving on to more challenging concepts. 

        Our reading program is all encompassing, including, fluency, comprehension and writing skills from simple to complex material in fiction and non-fiction.

        Our math program will improve mental calculation ability and confidence, work skills, efficiency and accuracy so students can feel faster and more confident to do more challenging math. They even grow to love math in the process.

        Kumon of Fredericksburg-Northwest also develops focus, concentration, stamina and endurance and learn work skills that improve test taking, critical thinking and problem solving.

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
