About the Instructor

Introduction

Mrs. Patel

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I aspire to produce high achievement among my students and create opportunities so that individuals can develop along unique paths. The most essential characteristics I hope to instill in my students is a passion for  lifelong learning in and beyond the classroom, and the motivation and confidence to personally and academically succeed at his/her own pace.  Equity over equality is essential to individual growth for students; this can be achieved through the Kumon path of mastery in small increments, self-motivated learning, and comprehension and retention through practice.

I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.
