About the Instructor

Introduction

My Goals for our Students

I have a passion for education. I have been a Kumon instructor for over 15 years since 2003. My joy is to motivate students and create a desire to learn. My goal is to have our students maximize their potential and get the full benefit from their Kumon study. The end goal is for every student to study 3 years above grade level. By accomplishing this goal, our students will have the ability to achieve their educational goals in school & beyond!

Biography and Background

Bio Pic

I am the owner and director of the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Johns Creek State Bridge. Prior to Kumon, I worked as an occupational therapist for children. I have a keen interest in learning & helping children develop strong mental calculation skills and reading/comprehension skills which led me to become a Kumon Instructor.

I opened my first Kumon Center in 2003 in Lilburn, GA. I owned and managed the center for 10 years. In October 2013, I sold the center to one of my Kumon parents and opened my current center in May 2014.

Training and Certification

Through Kumon North America's training program I achieved my certification as a Kumon Instructor. To continue with my professional development, I have participated and lead various instructor driven worksheet study groups.

I am a certified occupational therapist where I worked with children & adults for many years. I received my certification from IPH in Delhi, India.
