Kumon has always been a part of life for Su as her uncle is and has been a Kumon Instructor for about 30 years.  As such, she has witnessesd throughout her lifetime, the difference the Kumon Program makes in children's education, self-confidence, work skills and their overall attitude towards learning new things.

Su received her education at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and University of Illinois at Ubana-Champaign where she majored in Political Science.  She also holds a law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  She has practiced law in private law firms, specializing in general liability insurace coverage, for about ten years.  When the time came for her to make a career change, she knew she wanted to become a Kumon Instructor, like her uncle before her, in the hopes of contributing in the development of young minds, as well as the realization of their unlimited potential.
