head shot

Mrs. Siegel started the Lake Grove center in 2003. She had two daughters who needed academic enrichment in public school. From that point on she has guided them through years of Kumon and academic success culminating with her oldest daughter receiving her Ph.D. in biostatistics at 25. Her younger daughter now works for an environmental consulting firm and credits Kumon with helping her learn to focus and work efficiently.
Mrs. Siegel believes all children can have improved study habits, concentration, and confidence with Kumon. Skills are gained through careful practice and strong support from teachers and parents. Parents have an important role in setting aside time for their children to study and bringing them to the class regularly.
