About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

As the instructor at the Lewisburg Kumon Center, Xiyun (Sabrina) Liu brings a strong academic background with bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and psychology from Peking University and a master’s degree in developmental psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education. With experience working in educational settings across Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, she started her own business in 2019. In 2024, her dedication to education and passion for supporting children’s growth brought her to Kumon, where she is focused on helping each student achieve their fullest potential.

She has been a resident of Lewisburg, where she lives with her husband and two children, since 2011.
