About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. A few minutes each day of work will help your child stay focused and build confidence. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

I am a Texas Board-certified teacher and, this is my eleventh year of running the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Lewisville - South. Passionate and immersed in the heart and soul of teaching is a family tradition for me. I take great effort to nurture and have a track record of successfully bringing out the best in my students. I have witnessed numerous students leap ahead and their ability to achieve through the methodical application of the Kumon system. You can rest assured that your child's time with me will pay off many times over. I am a long-time resident of nearby Flower Mound and live there with my husband, two kids, a Cocker Spaniel, and an Aussie Doodle.
