CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR DISTINGISHED STUDENTS!

We have much to celebrate and to recognize our students’ achievements this month.

December’s Advanced Student Honor Roll (ASHR):

We have finally received and posted December’s ASHR Lists in our center! We are especially proud of our students who have received top rankings among North America Kumon students.  Special Honors for Math are awarded to: Emma N. (ranked 57 out of 11286) and Jonah W. (ranked 76 out of 24640). Special Honors for Reading are awarded to: Alex L. (ranked 54 out of 2562), Yati H. (ranked 25 out of 16542), and Emma N. (ranked 91 out of 16542).

Kumon Milestone “G-by-5”:

This milestone recognizes students who study Algebra I in math, and summary skills in reading before finishing 5th grade.  Congratulations to Jamie C. for reaching G-by-5 in reading, and Jared I. for reaching G-by-5 in math.

Skipping One School Grade:

Congratulations to Emma N. for skipping kindergarten and advancing to 1st grade at Walter Woodward Elementary. Mrs. N. commends Kumon for Emma’s ability to learn beyond her grade level; we, in turn, thank Mrs. N.’s dedication to Emma’s Kumon learning experience by making sure Emma attends classes regularly even though they have to drive all the way from Manteca.

Regional Competitions:

Congratulations to Carly M. for receiving 1st place at the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Math Olympiad, and Yati H. for placing 2nd in the ACSI Spelling Bee.

A job well done to Gurmehar B. for placing 1st in “A is for Anatomy” and Shreyas P. for placing 1st in “Science Bowl”, both of whom participated in the San Joaquin Regional Science Olympiad competition.

School Acceptance:

In addition, congratulations to Htet H. for being accepted into the GATE program at Elkhorn School, and Kartik G. for being accepted into St. Mary’s High School.

We apologize in advance if we forgot anyone. It’s difficult to keep up with all our students’ accomplishments!
