Yukari Hasegawa-Certified Kumon Instructor
Ms. Hasegawa has been a certified Kumon instructor for 25 years. She has a passion for education and the mission set forth by our founder Toro Kumon.
Through individualized instruction, the Kumon Method aims to pursue the potential of each individual child.
Ms. Hasegawa has dedicated herself to this pursuit of potential in every child. The aims of our Math and Reading programs are for students to study high school senior level Calculus and develop a high level of reading ability in their native language before getting to high school. She has many students that, through her careful lesson planning and goal setting, have been able to complete the Kumon program before entering high school. They have gone on to be accepted to many top colleges in the Nation including many Ivy League Schools.
There are many students in the Marietta East center that are able to study four to five years above grade level making their school study much easier. Ms. Hasegawa recognizes the advantage this gives students in the competitive world of college entrance exams. The Kumon method develops not only strong academic ability, but a sense of confidence and accomplishment in the student.
