My name is Deepti Reddy, Kumon Instructor of McKinney - Southwest! 

I serve as a mentor to help my students achieve more on their own. I guide my students and parents through the Kumon Method of self-learning while providing support and encouragement. When questions arise, whether about helping your child at home, what techniques can be used to tackle specific challenges or the general pacing of students'progress, I have first-hand knowledge as a Kumon parent and a Kumon instructor. 

As a Kumon parent myself, I understand the importance of not only communicating with parents but also balancing Kumon, school, and extra-curricular activities. Sustaining Kumon through the years and becoming a Kumon completer is the final stage of the program, but maintaining the just-right amount of time spent on Kumon day-in-and-day-out and helping students overcome challenges at home takes careful nurturing and good communication with parents. 

I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within the designated time frame to increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

As a computer science Engineer and a mother of two kids, I am a strong believer that a solid foundation and education are the essential keys to success in all walks of life. I believe that education impacts every sphere of our conscious lives -- the way we eat, cook, and dress, but more importantly the way we take on the world. 

My passion for the Kumon Method started when I enrolled my daughter at a local center at the age of 3. My daughter amazed me with the way she progressed above her peers with individualized guidance and mentoring. Her progress made me realize how the Kumon Method can develop confident learners who can persevere through any obstacle in life. 

I began my journey as a Kumon Instructor by opening my center in March 2014. From then till today, I have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of students to achieve their academic and personal successes. We are continued to be amazed at the potential we are able to unlock through praise and motivation for children of any age.  

Kumon of McKinney - Southwest works with students from McKinney and the surrounding areas. We offer both in center and virtual options for the convenience of our families. We looking forward to scheduling a parent orientation with you to help create a plan to help unlock your child's full potential.
