About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

My name is Mehak and I am the Center Director at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Mechanicsburg. 

I attended Penn State University and received my Bachelors in Finance. I've always enjoyed working with students. I worked as a professor's assistant and tutored students during my college years. A love of teaching has always been a part of my life. I greatly value the importance of education and a good academic foundation for each child to achieve the highest academic success. As a Kumon Instructor, I am immensely excited about participating in making your child an independent learner and achieving the greatest level of confidence in life.
