About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Hi there! My name is Zubreen and I am the Instructor at Kumon of Midtown West. I have a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NYIT. I am also a certified Kumon Instructor in Math and Reading.

My journey at Kumon started as a student in the Reading Program at the age of 8. As a student, the instruction and guidance I received helped me become a self-learner and achieve my goals. At the age of 16, I got the opportunity to become part of the Kumon team and work with students. My passion for teaching and working with children led met open my own center. I want to provide the same opportunity to my students as Kumon did for me. As an instructor, I hope to maximize the potential of each of my students by helping them become self-learners and boosting their confidence.

As a center that started with two sisters, every member of my family is passionately involved in providing the best educational experience for your child!
