Kyle's Story
Kyle started with Kumon at the age of four in both Math and Reading. There began his thirteen year journey, where he end up completing the math program and also becoming an assistant in the center.
Balancing Kumon and baseball wasn't easy, but Kyle persevered, completing the Math program in his junior year of high school. It wasn't always fun, and there were times he felt like quitting. "My parents taught me that once I started something, I should always see it through to the end. They made me work out the problems and finish the homework, no matter how much I complained. This was the first lesson I learned...to always finish what I started and never give up, no matter how hard something is."
Kyle was the center's first Math completer. His stellar Math and Reading skills allowed him to become a center assistant, which led him to realize that he enjoys helping people and making a positive impact. Kyle will be going away to college and pursuing his dream of becoming a psychologist. He says, "Kumon has helped me learn life lessons, important Math and Reading skills, and has offered me many opportunities."
