Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an individualized study plan, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This approach helps my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Tate Isgrig - Instructor at the Kumon of Milton


Kumon Instructors are trained and certified through a comprehensive system which ensures that they offer the best in Kumon instruction to each student. Tate Isgrig, the Kumon Instructor, is a career educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Tate has extensive experience both as a regular educator and an administrator in both public and private schools.

Tate works very closely with each student and his or her family to create the best study plan possible for the student, whether the need is for remedial help or for advanced study. He carefully assesses homework for speed and accuracy in order to achieve mastery of each skill.
