About the Instructor

Introduction

As a true believer in the Kumon Method, I trained extensively to become an instructor and serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I truly believe that with a comfortable starting point, the right guidance and lots of praise, our students will learn to work independently towards their goals and reach their true potential.

Biography and Background

instructor

My name is Monika Cadar and I became a Kumon Instructor because I personally experienced the program's benefits through my daughter. I have a Bachelor in Law, various courses in Human Resources and Business Administration and 14 years of experience working in a big corporation. Through all this, I learned that nothing can be achieved without hard work and a sense of responsibility.

I enrolled my daughter in the program 4 years ago when she was Grade 1 because I wanted her to have homework -a daily responsibility and a good foundation in math and reading (as she studies in French). She quickly learned that Kumon is part of her daily routine, advanced at her own pace and says that math is her favourite subject!

I honestly think that each and every child needs an individualized plan, which allows them to work at their own pace and achieve goals that they always dreamed about. But nothing comes without hard work and commitment. The traits children learn in Kumon will teach them responsibility, perseverance, respect, independence, not only for now but for the future.
