Michelle Bettuzzi BS, PT, DPT
Dyslexic Practitioner
Director at Kumon of Niles
Dr. Bettuzzi, serving as the Center Director, brings a wealth of expertise to her role, holding a BS from Marquette University, a DPT degree from Rosalind Franklin University, and a Dyslexic Practitioner Certification from the International Dyslexia Association.
Dr. Bettuzzi’s journey with Kumon started over three decades ago, when she enrolled her learning disabled daughter into Kumon. She fell in love with the Kumon Methodology which provided the essential skills that unlocked her child’s potential. Given the dramatic success of her first child, Dr. Bettuzzi quickly enrolled her three other children and encouraged many others.
Inspired by her children’s successes and her expertise in neural training, Dr. Bettuzzi became a Kumon instructor over 20 years ago. She has been a presenter at Kumon’s North American conference and represented Kumon North America at Kumon International 50th Anniversary Conference. She had been a leader and participant in many Kumon Voluntary Math and Reading Study Groups throughout her past 20 years. Dr. Bettuzzi has fostered and mentored several employees and parents who became inspired to become Kumon Instructors.
Dr. Bettuzzi strongly believes that every child deserves the opportunity to have a strong foundation in academic excellence in math and reading. She is committed to working passionately with every student and parent, unlocking the full potential of every child by setting achievable goals. She believes it's definitely a privilege to be able to serve and offer the benefits of the Kumon Method to her community and positively impact our society as a whole.
