Kasia Braun
Instructor, Kumon Math and Reading Center of Norwell
I believe all children can improve and reach material ahead of their grade when are given the opportunity, the proper material to practice, and parental support at home. Many children who come to Kumon might struggle in school, while others might be ahead in school and need more challenges. In Kumon, our goal is to “meet your child where they are at” and tailor the program to their ability, not their age or school grade. Your child will never compete with anyone and will not expect to keep up with the progress of classmates or other students in the center, thus progressing systematically and gradually at their own pace. The countless success stories of our past students make us energized and committed to the successes of our current students. We love what we do and we hope you will, too.
As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed. I personally oversee the progress of all students and am always accessible whether for a quick conference, a phone call, or email. I will be with you and your child at every step of their Kumon journey. I always encourage my customers to let me know how we are doing and what we can improve to make our learning environment outstanding for all of our students.
