About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Almas, a dedicated graduate of Bombay University, possesses an unwavering passion for teaching and nurturing young minds. With over 20 years of experience as an early childhood teacher and trainer, her commitment knows no bounds as she witnessed the remarkable transformation of her own children through Kumon programs. Inspired by this journey and her love for making a difference in aspiring students, she embarked on opening her own Kumon center. Her children, stand as testaments to the effectiveness of Kumon, with her son graduating from UT Austin's Cockrell School of Engineering and her daughter currently pursuing her undergraduate studies at Rice University. Almas firmly believes in the power of Kumon to make a significant difference in children's lives, which motivated her to establish her first Kumon center after becoming an empty nester. With unyielding dedication, Almas pledges to provide the time and support necessary for every child to excel in math and reading under her guidance.
