About the Instructor

Education is the only lasting legacy that we could leave behind to our kids. That’s what my parents taught me, and that’s what motivates me to become an Instructor myself. My Kumon journey began with my son, who started in the program as a preschooler and have grown leaps and bounds since then.

My background includes 14 years in Risk & Compliance. As a former Head of Internal Audit, I connected with individuals from all walks of life – not to scare them, but to work together and make things better. That’s what I intend to do as your Instructor; to work together with you to develop a customized learning program that helps your kids pursue their full learning potential.

I look forward to a partnership with you to develop your children into lifelong self-learners.

Stanislaus Haribowo (Stan) is a risk management professional with more than 14 years of experience. He started his career in the big 4 accounting firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG Phoenix and Vancouver, focusing on audit and advisory. After KPMG, Stan headed the Internal Audit Asia function of Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Singapore and was responsible for the audit of trading desks, operations (refineries & ports), and fraud investigations. He also handled the downstream process excellence function in Golden Agri Resources, working on Finance structure simplification and elimination of redundancies. With a strong commodity trading background, he works with C-level executives and regional management in the evaluation & improvement of business process, internal controls, and risk management. 

Stan is also a futures trader with 19 years of experience. He manages a private portfolio and specializes in discretionary long-short trades of index, commodity futures, and options strategies related to earnings trades.
