At Kumon, we’re committed to the safety of our community.

We have made some significant changes to our daily operations in order to ensure the well-being of all our students, parents and staff. Now that our Centre is open, we want you to feel confident in the fact that the safety of your children is our top priority.  

Some of our new measures include:

Virtual Classes

-         Our Centre will continue to offer virtual sessions for families who are not yet ready to return to in-Centre classes. Whatever the situation, we believe that students learn best when the whole family is at ease.  

Reduced Centre Capacity

-         In order to ensure that the minimum physical distancing standard of 2 metres is maintained, we have implemented a comprehensive scheduling system and limited our classroom capacity. Each student studying in-Centre will be assigned their own table.

Facemasks for Kumon Staff

-         Staff members will wear masks at all times, regardless of whether or not they interact with students directly.

Enhanced Sanitization Practices

-         All surfaces will be regularly cleaned and sanitized. The Centre will also undergo a deep clean before opening on class days.

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

• Master math and reading, often helping them earn their best grades ever
• Build study skills such as confidence, focus and work ethic
• Reduce homework stress and test anxiety

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
