About the Instructor

Introduction

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Biography and Background

Tricia

Tricia Cosentino has dedicated her life to working with children.  She is a credentialed teacher and has worked in both public and private schools for 7 years.  After taking time off to raise her two children, she went back to what she loved and tutored privately for 6 years.  She was introduced to Kumon when her daughter's teacher recommended the program to help improve her math skills.  She saw the amazing results and positive effect that Kumon had on her own child, and when the opportunity to become a Kumon Instructor was presented to her, she knew it was the most logical path she could choose.  Tricia opened the center in 2015 and loves working in the community where she lives to help children unlock their potential, increase their self confidence and realize their academic goals.
