About the Instructor

My name is Arshad Jamaluddin and I am the Instructor for Kumon of Peachtree City - South. 

I am an extensively trained and certified professional Instructor who serves as a mentor to guide your children through their Kumon assignments while also providing direction, support, and encouragement. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

Background Information

I have a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education as well as a Masters in Mathematics and Business Administration. My passion for educating others first began as a tutor. All throughout my high school years and while receiving my degrees, I taught all age students as a private tutor in Mathematics. After moving to the United States, I started my career as a business owner. However, my true passion was to teach Mathematics. 

My Kumon journey as a Kumon instructor started in 2009 after I accepted a part time position at the Kumon center as a grader and a math assistant. I immediately noticed the positive impact the Kumon Method was having on the students. I then decided to open Kumon of Peachtree City - South with the desire to continuously help students thrive and build their confidence.

As a certified Kumon Instructor, I strive to help students gain skills and traits that go beyond the classroom, such as time management and self-confidence. Kumon is the program which can work for every student and family that is committed to the process. This program is the one program that truly moves at the student’s pace, allowing them to master one concept before moving onto the next. Kumon’s systematic approach allows students to start at a comfortable place and move forward on their own schedule, all the while filling in any gaps that have developed along the way. Through daily practice and repetition, students master concepts, giving them the confidence to advance.
