About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

With over 20 years of experience working with children in a professional setting, I have dedicated myself to education. I am proud to say I am a Certified Kumon Instructor. I am also a Kumon parent and it is the success of my own son that has helped to instill my strong belief in the benefits of the Kumon Program. That is what has led me down the path to becoming an Instructor. I wish to share the wonderful gift of Kumon with as many families as possible. 

Prior to becoming the Instructor at Kumon Peoria-North, I worked as the chief assistant for two Kumon centers in the Phoenix area. Furthermore, I have completed Kumon’s intensive training program which has further increased my knowledge of the Kumon curriculum and instilled my belief in the Program.
