About the Instructor

As an extensively trained and certified professional instructor, I serve as a mentor who guides your children through their work while also providing direction, support and encouragement. I create an at-home study plan in addition to monitoring classroom assignments, and I emphasize the importance of accurately completing each assignment within a designated time frame. This has helped many of my students increase self-confidence, thus becoming more self-reliant. Like all Kumon Instructors, I have a true passion for education and an earnest desire to help children succeed.

My name is Swarna and being the head Instructor of Kumon Pitt Meadows, I oversee the various operations of the center on a day-to-day basis. I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (PGDHR). I wanted to be part of the Kumon journey because of my passion to educate young children and to see them succeed in their academic endeavour. My primary objective is to impart confidence and self-dependability in the minds of young kids, which will ultimately lead them to achieve their goals in both Math and Reading. I have extensive training and experience in the field of tutoring school-age kids, which I feel would come handy while performing the duties of a head instructor at Kumon Pitt Meadows.
