Program Completers
The students here have successfully completed the entire Kumon Curriculum ending with Level O. This final level requires our students to apply all their skills they have acquired from Kumon to complete the program. Level O teaches students differential calculus, concavity, increasing/decreasing functions, tangent lines, and much more advanced math.
Level J Completers
These students have successfully completed Level J. Level J completers have mastered algebraic calculation skills, such as, simplifying, evaluating, and factoring algebraic expressions for mathematics. For reading, the completers have developed the ability to analyze passages as well as identify character motives and behavior. Through these tactics students have improved comprehension and the meaning of their reading.
Level G Completers
Students who have successfully passed Level G have mastered skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide positive and negative numbers. Along with this, students can confidently work with algebraic expressions and solve basic linear equations. As for reading, students have attained skills essential for essay planning and writing. They also begin to analyze passages and learn to identify the plot, theme, and characterizations in order for greater success.
Twin's Story
Pranav and Sushil are currently attending IMSA (Institute of Math and Science Academy, Aurora, IL ). Their success in their lives up to this point can be partially attributed to the Kumon Program. They started Kumon at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Plainfield-North in 2nd grade. Although their mom taught them the material, the questions provided by Kumon were substantial enough to foster such mental stimulation that they have gone on to not only finish the Kumon Math (Pranav) and Reading (Sushil) programs, but also have acquired a myriad of accolades over their years. Just some of these include getting a perfect 800 on the SAT Math Section, as well as a perfect 800 on the advanced SAT Math 2 Subject Test. Kumon has had an influential role in their lives, and it has aided in fostering the curious and intellectual spirit that has led them to their success today.
Alexandra's Progress
Hello Mr. Raheja,
I just wanted to send a quick note letting you know just how pleased
we are with Alexandra's progress. Her confidence in math has grown so
much since she has started your program. We love seeing her enjoy what
she is working on. This confidence has shown not only in math but now
into so many other subjects. Her growth has us so very proud of her
and it is astonishing to see her proud of herself.
Thank you for all that you do.
Have a wonderful day!
