Angie's story

I started Kumon in 5^th grade at age 10.  I did Kumon because my math grade in school was a B.  I kept trying to bring my grade up, but I could not.  My mom and I saw the Hillsdale Kumon sign and went to the website.  We then went to the center and met Noriko, watched a movie about the program, and looked around.  I decided to do the program.  I now am in 6^th grade and am 11 years old.  Every Monday and Thursday, I come to Kumon after school and check in and do the day’s packet.  The other days of the week I do a packet of math at my house.  I am on level H, almost to I. I am very glad that I do Kumon.  I keep doing Kumon because it helps me be more confident and helps me to do well in school math.  Also the teachers are very nice and it is fun to learn advanced math.  I recommend this program to anyone needing extra help in math.

Scully's Story

Hi, my name is Scully and I am doing math and reading in Kumon and I am in the 4^th grade.  I think Kumon is great.  I’m glad that I’m doing it because as I pass each level at Kumon it makes the work at school seem more like a review.  It is also like a boost up, like a rocket.  When I first started, it’s as I was “building” a rocket which I get to understand all of the parts of.  Then when I’ve got it in my head, I get ready to launch.  I get to launch into a new level after passing each achievement test.
