COVID-19 UPDATE:
KUMON TO REMAIN OPEN UNDERCURRENT HEALTH ORDER FOR DISTANCE LEARNING, SUBJECT TO NEW CENTER PROCEDURES
Established over 60 years ago, our founder Toru Kumon began this program for his own child from his very own home. We are fortunate that during this time of COVID-19, our largely home-based self-learning program remains intact.
Center Cleanliness
- All staff wear face masks and face shield
- Having socially distanced students and staff
- Minimal people allowed on site simultaneously
- Contactless thermometers used for temperature checks prior to entry
- Foot traffic managed to flow in a particular direction
- Students will be provided hand sanitizer upon arrival
- Center will be sanitized before and after each session and tables will be sanitized prior to each new student
Students:
- Requiring face masks, take temperature and sanitize hands before entering to center
- Parents enjoying the outdoors nearby instead of the waiting room, and will pick up students right after their visit (no waiting area available)
- Students entering with their own worksheets and supplies already in hand
- Bathroom is limited for emergency only
- Stay home and get tested if they have a frequent cough, fever, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, recent loss of taste or smell.
We are taking many steps to limit student interaction and keep the Center clean. We ask that you support our efforts by following the guidelines regarding student hygiene within the Center Cleanliness Policy. Please remember that these rules are meant to protect all staff members, students, and families who visit the center.
Our goal is to support your children in their Kumon journey and limit interruptions to their study as much as possible. Continuous learning is the key to success in the Kumon Program, and we aim to support each of our students in achieving their goals.
