About Your Instructor

MEENA PATIL

Prior to becoming a certified Kumon Instructor, I earned my Master’s Degree in Science with a concentration in Food Science and Nutrition from India.

After finishing my education, I taught 11th and 12th grade in India. Upon coming to the U.S. in 1996, I worked for various firms in and around Los Angeles as a computer programmer. I decided to become a Kumon Instructor in 2013. I’ve always had a passion for helping children to succeed and reach their full potential, as well as a deep appreciation for education and educators.

When my mother took over the Kumon Center of San Pedro - Northwest in 1995, I became very interested in learning more about Kumon. I then took over my mother's Kumon Center in 2013. As the Kumon Instructor, I look forward to helping many more children realize their true potential through study in the Kumon Program.
