Confidence
We have been doing Kumon for 5 years now and I am an ardent fan of this wonderful program. We never take breaks and are very consistent and disciplined when in comes to Kumon. Now that both of my kids are above grade level, they simply love the program as it keeps them ahead. They feel so confident and school is so easy for them.

Math and Reading Progress
We started Kumon 3 years ago with both our kids. At first I was not sure if I could add another activity to their daily routine. Seeing their progress in school made my children soon realize that doing the extra Kumon every day gave them an edge in class with Math and Reading. Not only does it make them disciplined in doing their homework from school, it also helps with other activities such as piano and sports.
My daughter struggled with math at school and it was advised that we consider tutoring. After a few months of tutoring we decided to evaluate Kumon. Once I spoke to Prabha and learned about the program I was convinced that it was the right choice for our family. Today I feel proud when my daughter is a grade level above, enjoys math, and can solve problems without struggling. My son started when he was 4 and has been able to do mental math ever since and read books without a problem.
Prabha and her staff make a great effort in making sure all the needs of the students are met and run a very efficient center. She is personally aware of the abilities of each invidvidual student and manages their progress proficiently. I have friends with children enlisted in Kumon in various other cities/locations. When talking to them I feel very fortunate that my kids attend a center that has a strong management.

Math Success
We would like to personally thank the Kumon staff at the Sandy Center (and especially Prabha Nagenthram) for helping our sons, Sneh and Shubh. All the instructors at Kumon Sandy are fabulous in teaching. Prabha is very helpful and she goes the extra mile to everyone that may need it. The staff is very professional and friendly! My sons have been at Kumon for the last 4 years and we've seen great progress in their learning.
My younger son, Shubh, who is in 5th grade, is the top of his class in math due to daily Kumon practice. His school is planning to place him in a 6th grade GATE program due to his exceptional math skills.
My elder son, Sneh, has always been good in math. Kumon helped him to be ahead of the game and ace his assignments and tests in school. Kumon has confirmed the old saying "practice makes perfect." With all the daily practice sessions, we have seen an amazing increase in his speed and confidence. As a result, he was tested and placed in the GATE program at his high school one grade above (in 9th grade). We would like to thank Kumon (and especially Prabha) for motivating and guiding him all the time. He just completed the entire Kumon Math Program.
We believe these successes are a direct result of their consistent work in the Kumon program and continuous mentoring provided by Kumon. Mys sons are more disciplined about doing all their school work. Kumon was the best decision we ever made about their education. We highly recommend Kumon to any parent looking to give their child that extra boost in achieving confidence and better test scores in school.

DUAL PROGRAM COMPLETER PUBLISHES CHILDREN’S BOOK
Tarun enrolled in Kumon at the age of 5 and went on to successfully complete both the Math and Reading program. He dedicates countless hours to spreading knowledge to younger students who are interested in competition math, or who simply want to progress in school. It was through working with these younger students that inspired him to write his first book, The Number Monster. Through this book, he wanted to show students who struggle with math that they have the potential to succeed in math. The Number Monster recently won 1st place for best eBook on “School Issues” in the 2020 Purple Dragonfly Book Awards Contest.
When asked to reflect on his Kumon experience, Tarun states, “I enjoyed that Kumon offered the opportunity to advance beyond my grade level, which greatly improved my drive and work ethic. Kumon instilled in me a newfound love for learning, as well as a greater confidence to participate in school. This allowed me to form better relationships with teachers and to establish connections with past students at my center that have provided me with great friendships to this day.”
