Our students, ranging from preschool through 12th grade, develop the skills that help them build upon each concept they learn. With individualized learning plans, motivation and practice, our center prepares students to become avid learners, encouraging success throughout their entire academic experience and beyond.

Student Spotlight - Fathimah

Fathimah is ten years old and in the 5th grade. She is studying Math 2 years above her grade level at the Kumon Center of Sarasota - Bee Ridge. Fathimah is also studying 2 years above grade level in our Reading program. Such amazing accomplishments! We are very proud of her! Fathimah says that Kumon has made her smarter, which has helped her schoolwork become easier. Her parents believe strongly in Kumon and encourage Fathima to always try hard and do her best. Fathima strives to be a program completer in the near future and become a successful pediatrician. Fathimah also enjoys participating in taekwondo. The staff at Sarasota - Bee Ridge Kumon knows Fathima will achieve her goals!!!

Student Spotlight - Omika

Omika is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. She is studying math 5 years above her grade level and is 3 years above her grade level in Reading!!! What amazing accomplishments, Omika! She began Kumon study when she was only 3.5 years old and attributes her perseverance and strength of mind to her years of Kumon study. Omika has a positive study attitude and an amazing work ethic. She sums up her Kumon experience by saying it has been an amazing and spectacular journey so far! Omika also practices taekwondo and classical Indian dance. Omika, we at Kumon of Sarasota - Bee Ridge know you will reach your goals of being a successful doctor one day!!
