Alana's Story
I am so amazed at my daughter’s progress since she started the Kumon Program. She is truly a success story.
After only 10 months in the Kumon Program, Alana’s progress report by her Kumon Instructor and school teacher aligned completely. She has improved her reading skills to advance FOUR levels higher at school and her sight word capacity is at the 3rd grade level (she is in 1st grade). Most importantly, for the short time she has been in the Kumon Program, she has grown confident in her reading abilities and skills which fostered a love to read. She loves to learn new reading strategies and wants to advance her skill set. This confidence level was holding her back and Kumon helped her breakthrough – we now just drop everything at a spare moment just to have fun and read!
My daughter’s progress exemplifies the results driven program Kumon provides as well as a positive, healthy, and encouraging learning environment. Moreover, the Shrewsbury Kumon team is amazing. The entire staff has always been warm and welcoming and has provided my daughter the best gift ever – the love to learn and embracing all the joy that comes from reading. I cannot thank you enough for your amazing support.

It's Peter. You may not remember me, but I did Kumon at your center for a while. My SATs came back and I got a 780 on the math section. Doing Kumon homework every day was truly a big challenge, but looking back, it really helped me. I couldn't have gotten that score without your help.

A message from a happy parent
My daughter started the Kumon program in late June 2018 prior to her eighth-grade year in preparation for high school entrance exams. She worked with the program in both math and reading all summer long and through the fall with individual adjustments made to the program for testing. My daughter scored exceedingly well on her entrance exams gaining academic scholarships on EVERY high school she applied to. The program helped her with her speed and accuracy for standardized tests and gave her a wonderful advantage. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking to increase their reading and math skills.

Sometimes I didn't feel like doing Kumon every day, but in the end, it really helped me with my schoolwork and let me become proficient in math.
